Cross Curricular Project: Scientific Minds in Action

This is a very hard time for The Earth, so my students began to understand more about the importance of recycling.

The last three weeks we had been recycling all kind of cardboard, and we created new useful things, like puzzles, boxes for pencils and games, covers for books, souvenirs, animals, etc.

Planetarium

This week we had the visit of the Planetarium... it was an amazing experience, and we felt like we are floating in the space... We watched the sun, the moon, the stars, the Earth, and the other planets of the Solar Sistem.

OH! I almost forgot... we have learnt a little bit more about taking care our planet

Healthy - Unhealthy

Last week my students had heard a Workshop about Healthy food… I hope this activity help at home to eat more fruits and vegetables.

Field Trip: Parque de la Amistad

Last tuesday, we had our first field trip to the Parque de la Amistad!!! We all visited the park, and learned about the nature.

Happy Children's Day

Last thursday... we celebrate at School... CHILDREN'S DAY!!!
Our dear friends: Miss Carolina, Miss Pilar and Miss Patty had prepared a big surprise for all the children from San Jorge School... In the morning all the helpers had prepared a great show The Three Little Pigs, it was so much fun that the children had enjoyed all the show. Then was the Pizza... yumi!!!!!!! and then was the game time!!!
All day was a celebration!!!

The Olympics

Last Friday in China, began the Olympics, and my children enjoy the inauguration... them had fun with this big celebration!!!
We watched when the Olympic torch was lit by this chinese athlete in the air... It was amazing.
