Solidarity Week

Solidarity Week Project was created by Lucy Castañon, this great idea consist in collect funds to build schools in the South of Peru (Ica - Chincha).

Solidarity Week, started last Wednesday with the "Jean Day", everybody at school put on their best jeans. Thursday we had the "Extravagant Day", that was realy fun day, and Friday it was the "Hat Day"... you know what??? just look the pictures!!!

My students want to dedicate this song to all ST. George Family, who got together for this project.

Veggie Patch

Last wednesday my students have started the Veggie Patch Project. This is an interesting way to learn more about the plants and how growing up.

This year my students have planted Parsley, with the great help of our gardener Mr. Gregorio, he taught us how to prepare the ground and planting seeds.

Sports Day

Hey!!! How could I forget the Sports Day?... On this day students, parents and teachers enjoyed this big celebration... for Father's Day... and the infant's fathers played football and the mothers played volley. And the little ones had the chance to play with their parents!!!

Día del Campesino

El día de hoy, en el Perú, celebramos el día del campesino. Mis niños aprendieron sobre el gran trabajo que realizan estas personas, mediante el cuento "La Semillita", y mediante trabajos manuales, como el mural y costales de verduras que ven en la foto, este trabajo fue realizado en equipo junto con nuestros amigos de Pre-Kinder Deer. I Can't Get My Turtle To Move

Today my students enjoyed this wonderfull story: "I Can't Get My Turtle To Move", by Elizabeth Lee O'Donnell.

This story was really nice for my children because we have a turtle named Tortilla, as a pet... and, sometimes, he acts the same way, as the turtle from the story... here some pictures.

This week my students have learned a new song, named Jack and Jill !!! And this time we use "the magic board", and, as always my students have participated a lot, A LOT!!!

Smart Board: El Léón y el Ratón

Mis alumnos, empezaron a conocer los diferentes usos que tiene una smart board, y a partir de la fecha ya no solo es una pantalla por donde ven videos, si no que también es un medio por el cual pueden realizar diferentes actividades de aprendizaje. En esta ocasión mis alumnos realizaron la clase de comprensión de un cuento: “El León y el Ratón” (hacer click en el link para ver el video)
